You will need:
Dare to try a concentrated cleaner such as Castile soap or black soap. When diluted, these soaps work wonders and leave the windows spotless.
Tip: Use rags or old dry cotton T-shirts to wipe the windows after washing.
If you have a rainwater barrel, this is the most ecological solution. Simply fill the first bucket with rainwater and use it for rinsing. In the second bucket, dilute the quantity of car cleaner according to the chosen product and fill with rainwater.
With black soap: 2 tablespoons (30 ml) in 5 L of water. For more details, see our article on black soap.
With Castile soap: 1 to 2 tablespoons (15ml to 30 ml) diluted in a bucket of water. For more details, see our article on Castile soap.
Wash one section of the car and rinse with non-soap water before moving on to the next section. Repeat until the car is completely clean.
A tip for easier car rinsing: Wash in rainy and rather warm weather. Let Mother Nature assist you in your work… Have fun!
