Recette masque argile pour peau acnéique - Clay mask DIY recipe for acne-prone skin

Our clay mask recipe for oily and acne-prone skin is a quick and affordable recipe. It provides a natural alternative to expensive products to help cleanse oily and acne-prone skin.

This recipe is easy to make, just get these 3 ingredients available at Vert Essentiel.

  1. Mix the three ingredients well together until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
  2. Apply to clean face and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes*.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
  4. Repeat this treatment once a week.

*Important: A clay mask should never dry completely on the face before being rinsed off. Indeed, the cliché of a person who can no longer speak because his mask is fixed is a myth. The presence of oil in this recipe prevents the mask from drying on the face and thus keeps the clay active. If, by any chance, it begins to dry before the recommended 5 minutes, simply spray floral water on the face to keep it moisturized. After rinsing, your skin should not feel tight and should be soft and moisturized.

Note: Avoid using metal utensils to mix the clay.

However, we recommend that you exfoliate your face before applying this clay mask for acneic and oily skin.

Not sure which exfoliant to choose? Consult our exfoliant and mask section to discover an exfoliant that suits your skin type or simply use the konjac sponge for a gentle, simple and affordable exfoliation.

Finally, this clay mask recipe for acne-prone and oily skin can be adapted for sensitive skin and dry skin.
