Clay cleaning stone recipe: an all-purpose cleaner

Claystone can be used to clean sinks, faucets, ceramics and natural stone countertops. It is also effective for removing dirt from oven windows and even for shining silverware.

Clay cleaning stone recipe

Ingrédients

• 23 g of white clay
• 20 g of calcium carbonate
• 30 g of baking soda
• 30 g of liquid black soap
• Approximately 15 drops of  lemon essential oil (or other according to taste!)
• A 250 ml Mason jar with wide opening (or other wide opening glass container)

Instructions

1- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until you obtain a homogeneous paste.

2- Transfer this paste in the glass jar by pressing it well to the bottom.

3- Let it dry for 24 to 48 hours without a lid.

4- That’s it! Keep your clay cleaning stone in the jar with its lid.  

How to use the clay cleaning stone

Once the clay cleaning stone is finished, pass a sponge or a damp cloth over it to clean your sink, your oven, your pots and pans, the joints of your tiles, remove limestone from your taps and even revive metal objects and jewelry.
