Personally, we always recommend a night cream instead of using a day cream if you must choose. During the night, our skin works hard to balance the skins production of sebum and to repair itself, healing the redness and reversing the effects of all the harshness our skin is exposed to in a day. Night creams contain more active ingredients, which is why they are usually more expensive when compared to day creams. Disover our cream section online.
Mix ¼ cup borax, ¼ cup citric acid and ¼ of our 15% household vinegar (3x more concentrated than table vinegar). Pour the mixture directly into the machine and set your load size to the biggest one possible and it’s important to set the water temperature to hot, if not the minerals wont dissolve. Borax is antibacterial and antifungal, citric acid is an excellent abrasive and vinegar is great for the pipes.
Normally we suggest you only exfoliate your skin once a week, max twice a week. There are many different types of exfoliants available on the market and to choose what’s best for you, you must go with your specific skin type. For those who have sensitive skin, we recommend a sugar-based product. Once water is applied, sugar melts to your skin and is less abrasive. For those who suffer from acne prone skin, we recommend a salt-based product or a product that has big grains which will open the pores and help with the bacteria buildup. After exfoliating your skin always follow with a face mask. For more details, discover our mask recipe for sensitive skin, for dry skin and for acne-prone skin.
Natural deodorants often contain sodium bicarbonate and for those who have sensitive skin, a reaction usually develops on the armpits. Are you aware of sodium percarbonate? Careful, not to be confused with sodium bicarbonate. Sodium percarbonate is a mineral which dissolves in hot water and performs best if you let your clothes soak. No more throwing away our white t-shirts because of sweat stains or worrying about our table clothes when the wine is on the table. Sodium percarbonate removes all organic stains: sweat, wine, grass, even blood stains and more. It is a must for washable feminine pads. We promise you will fall in love!
